B to the I to the g, B to the A N G. This is the first thing that i will remember whenever i think of them. Labeled as Nation's Boy Band, BIGBANG is a South Korean boy band that form by YG Entertainment that officially debut August 19, 2006. The band was comprising by GD, TOP, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri. Unlike other band, BIGBANG involve in compising and producing their own music especially GD who has earn not only group but also others singer respect and praise in music industry.
Before debut, a few from the member were already exposed to the entertainment industry. At age eleven, GD and Taeyang are the first one who recieve training from YG Ent meanwhile TOP was underground rapper under the name 'TEMPO'. Seungri was a leader of a local dance team at his hometown, Gwangju. Different from the rest, Daesung was wll-known for his strong singing ability and was recruited in an open oudition. He was train under Wheesung supervision. Before BIGBANG's debut, Daesung was diagnosed with vocal fold nodules, cause by strain on a vocal cords.
On 19 August, 2006, the boys held their first debut on YG Family concert and their first debut performance on television broadcast was on 23rd September on a same year with their debut studio album Bigbang Vol.1 - since 2007. Following that, the boys then release first singles cointain 'We Belong Together' by GD and TOP ft Park Bom (2NE1), 'A Fool only Tears' and 'This Love' by GD (solo) that adaptation from Maroon 5 and rewrite and composing by GD himself. The single total sell was nearly 40, 000 copies. The second single was release on the same year with Bigbang is V.I.P or 'La La La' with 33, 000 copies was sold and Bigbang 03 with final sales 40, 000 copies sale. At the end of the year, the boys held their first concert, The real. The following month, the boys debut was sold 48, 000 copies in the end of February, 2007.

On Feb 8, 2007, BIGBANG was released they live concert album 'The First / Real Live Concert' which sold 30, 000 copies in the end of the year. The group also began their 'Want You Tour' with visited five cities at thier country. The boys then released they first mini album Always, at the same year. With this new album, they make a several change and decides to take take over music. In this album, GD composed and wrote most of the track including title single 'Lies (geotjimal)' and the album become their first number one hit single with 87, 000 sold copies.
At the same year, their released a second mini album Hot Issues with the lead successful single 'Last Farewell' which topped in various charts and garnered 'Song of The Month' award from Cyworld. The group then collected numerous awards such as 'Song of The Year' at 2007 Mnet Asia Music Award and 'Artist of The Year' from 17th Seoul Music Award. Not to forget when the group earn a total of 12 billion Won (10.6 million US Dollar) by year's end.
As 2007 came to the end, BIGBANG ventures overseas to Japan for their Japanesse debut with extended play, for the world that released early 2008. After their Japanese promotion finished, the boys back to South Korean. Their third mini album of 2008, stand up was released and exceeded 100, 000 marks in sales. 'Haru Haru' the lead single, topped several online charts and held number 1 position for six consicutive weeks. Following the single sucess, others song also manage to make Top 20.
BIGBANG then release another Japanese album Number 1 with song that also use the same name as the album. The album peaked at number three at Japan's Oricon daily album charts. Then, the follow-up album Remember release on the same year with number 1 single 'Sunset Glow' and 'Strong Baby' (Seungri Solo). Unlike 2007, BIGBANG sold album was went up to 200, 000 copies and recieve their second 'Artist of The Year' at Mnet Asia Music Award. At the end of the year, it has been reported that BIGBANG total earn is 36 billion Won (24.5 million US Dollar).
2009, the boys make a collaboration with they label's new group, 2NE1 for promotion cellphone Lollipop with 'Lollipop' song that reached number 1 spot on various online charts. BIGBANG then make their third endorsment to promote beer brand except for Seungri who was still underage that time.
In August 2009, BIGBANG release their Japanese album under Universal Music and promoted two singles 'My Haeven' and 'Gara Gara Go'. The boys then return to South Korea to make a preparation for their comeback. This time, member went with their solo activities. GD released heartbreaker (2009) album meanwhile Taeyang goes with two digital singles 'Where You At' and 'Wedding Dress' (2010). Other member, T.O.P was cast in Korean thriller drama IRIS alongside popular actor such as Lee Byung-Hun and Kim Tae Hee. The other two member - Seungri and Daesung were persued in individual activities such as acting and hosting. The members then gather again to released new song 'Koe wo kikasete' for Japanesse drama Ohitorisama and peaked at #4.

With no official abum was release as BIGBANG on 2010, the boys came with promotional ties 'Lollipop part 2' for LG Cyon's Lollipop phone. They next single, 'Tell Me Goodbye' was recorded at Japanese and re-release for IRIS drama. The song gained a lot of attention and win Song of The Year awards at 52nd Japan Records Award. With World Cup 2010, BIGBANG make a collaboration with Korean rock band Transfixtion and ice skater Kim Yu-Na with song 'Shout of the Reds'.
December 2010, GD and T.O.P release GD & T.O.P unit with GD&T.O.P VOL 1. The album had three single for promotion - 'High High' 'Oh Yeah' ft Park Bom of 2NE1 and 'Knockout'. This two then featured with British popular singer, Pixie Lot with 'Dancing With My own' for Pixie Lot Young Foolish Happy Japanese edition album. The younger member also make his own solo debut with VVIP album with double title trak 'VVIP' and 'What Can I Do',

BIGBANG won several notable awards including the Best 5 New Artists award from the 24th Japan
Gold Disc Awardsas well as the "Best New Artist" award. Near the end
of May, the group received the awards for "Best Pop Video" and
"Best New Artist" from the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2010. They
released their latest Japanese single Beautiful Hangover on August 25, 2010.

After persued each other individuals activities, the boys return to South Korea with their 2011 Big Show Concert. They latest extended play Tonight which become chart-topper upon its release on many Korean music charts. It's also become the first album that reach Top 10 on US iTunes charts and it's the only non-English language on Top 100. The album had pre-sale of 10, 000 copies and achieve 'all-kill' on the top of real charts in South Korea. Seven days after the album release, it was reported that BIGBANG had already earn 7 billion Won (6.2 million USD). In just a week, the group sold 100, 000 copies of the album.

After Tonight promotion finished, BIGBANG release a special edition with two new track 'Love Song' and 'Stupid Liar'. Two days after 'Love Song' MV release on Youtube manage to gain 2 million views. The group the kick off their Love & Hope tour in May of the same year.

BIGBANG won the 2011 MTV EMA's "Best Worldwide
Act" award as representatives of the Asia-Pacific region with over 58
million votes. All five members were present at the awards show to receive the
award, making it especially memorable since it was Daesung and G-Dragon's first
public appearance since Daesung's car accident and G-Dragon's accused marijuana
scandal. On November 29, the group also won the award for "Best Music
Video" award with their "Love Song" music video at the 2011 Mnet
Asian Music Awards.
BIGBANG release their third Greatest Hits album The Best Of Big Bang which contain japanese version of hits single 'Haru Haru' and sell over 14 000 copies within a week. BIGBANG was reported earn 88 billion Won (77.5 million USD) in just 2011even though they just promote around half of 2011.

BIGBANG then make an annual concert that held at Seoul Olympic Park Studio to sold out 40, 000 fans. The boys kick off their first world tour Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012 with performing at 21 cities over 13 countries. On March 2012, BIGBANG release a new MV 'Fantastic Baby' and recieved more than 100, 000 000 views on Youtube.

With they sucess comeback, BIGBANG release special edtion Still Alive album with lead single title 'Monster'. The album sold over 100, 000 copies on first month its release. BIGBANG then focoused on their world tour around Asia and America.

2013 until present is more to solo activities. It is began with Daesung first Japanese solo album D'scover. Daesung also hold a concert around Japan which total 25 concerts over 18 cities. The younger member, Seungri also release he's second EP Lets Talk About Love. The leader, GD be the next member to release solo album Coup D'Etat part 1 in september 2013. T.O.P is busy with his acting and cast as main character in The commitment that was release november 2013. He also release his second single 'Doom Dada' on a same month. Unlike other members, Taeyang release two single around 2013 until 2014. The first one is 'Ringa Linga' on november 8, 2013 and release Rise album in june 2014.
